ABOUT HENNA

Henna is 100% natural. Its is rare that anyone has ever had an allergic reaction to henna itself. Although that may be true there are some more sensitive to others that might have experienced an allergic reaction to henna. If you are unsure if you are allergic to henna please consult your physician or conduct a patch test to see your result.

My henna paste is made with the body art quality 100% natural henna. I add/mix in my own blend of organic juices, water, oils, and natural spices with the henna to make it into the paste that is painted onto the skin. I can create custom paste mixes depending on the occasion. I am also able to add or remove ingredients depending on the need or desire of the client. Upon booking a personal appointment I will review the ingredients of the paste with you and we will discuss any sensitivity, allergic reactions or affects you might have from any one of the ingredients in the paste. This will be determined upon booking an appointment so then I may decide what is best for you. This will help me determine If you have any plant allergies, so that then I may advise as to whether or not you may be allergic to the oils typically used to make henna paste.

Henna will stain the skin until exfoliation take place on the body. This process is anywhere between 1-4 weeks. Henna can survive on the thicker skin areas on the body such as the soles of your feet for more then a period of 2 months. For the thinner skin areas henna is most likely to fade within a timespan of 3-5 days

There are no real useful words to describe the beauty of body adornment so henna body art is referred to as 'Henna Tattooing' Henna is a safe alternative to permanent body art. Unlike permanent tattooing There are no permanent or artificial dyes used. No needles, no cutting or scarring of the skin. henna only dyes the top layer of the skin, this is a complete natural process. Henna has a natural dye which is callled 'Lawsome'. This dye is known to dye keratins ; Hair, Fingernails and skin. The Lawsome in the henna paste is released through heat and moisture and takes time to bind with cells. So it makes it very important to keep your design warm and moist. The heat allows the dye to dye itself deeper on the the skin. Giving it a more intense stain. Henna has the consistency of pudding or loose toothpaste. Being hennaed is a very alluring process. Its relaxing and a great form of calm and mediation.

All of my ingredients are Fresh and Only Natural. However; if you are pregnant please consult your physician before being hennaed. HENNA IS NOT BLACK!!!! people often get confused, mistaking  Harquus and Black Henna to be the same. Black henna is very dangerous and can be potenially fatal or put you at serious health risk.
